Lyin' Ryan

Lyin' Ryan.

I watched the Republican National Convention.  The two things I took away from it:

  • Ryan and Romney are as interesting as licking cardboard
  • Paul Ryan likes to tell whoppers

How the "planners" ever let the convention proceed as it did amazes me.  The quality control--completely lacking.

If these no good sons of bitches get elected I have self appointed myself as the head of the committee that will jump on a Learjet on inauguration day and eventually end up in Zihuatanejo.

And it occurred to me, only a few hours ago, that there probably was some backroom dealing concerning the idea of Clint Eastwood promoting his new movie as the real reason he stood up there and acted like an idiot.

Crucified Barbara from Sweden

Well the Republican convention is starting...maybe today, maybe tomorrow.  There just happens to be a hurricane headed that way.  Which is excellent for news people.  Always gotta build the hype, so this is a double whammy.  Currently, according to intrade markets, Obama is at roughly 56 percent of the vote, Romney is at approximately 42 percent.  It fluctuates.

Also: cutting taxes on big companies will not make them hire more people.  Increased demand will.

Iron Madiens.  Maiden cover band.

I spoke to my mom today and she said "Obama has a really big lead over Romney."  I am a little more cautious about saying things like that.  Never know when "shit might fuck up" to quote Thing Fish.

The thing that the candidates for president don't realize is there will be an upcoming economic collapse and there is nothing either one can do about it.  Except maybe make some money.
